Set up your teams, choose categories and difficulty, then tap Start. The acting player sees a word and has to act it out — no talking, no sounds, no pointing at objects in the room. Teammates shout guesses. Tap Correct when they get it, or Skip to move on. The team with the most points at the end wins.

Not yet — custom word lists are on the roadmap. For now the app ships with over 800 phrases across 9 categories (Movies, Songs, Books, TV Shows, Video Games, Food, Animals, Sports, and General) in three difficulty levels.

Open the app and go to Settings (gear icon on the setup screen). Tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used when you originally bought the upgrade. If it still doesn't work, contact us below.

First try Restore Purchase as described above. If that doesn't work, force-quit the app and reopen it. Still having trouble? Email us and we'll sort it out.

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and toggle off Charades Party. You'll still see ads in the free version, but they won't be personalized. The best way to go ad-free is to purchase the premium upgrade inside the app.

Force-quit the app (swipe up from the app switcher) and reopen it. If the problem persists, delete and reinstall — your premium purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can always be restored. If neither helps, please email us with your device model and iOS version.

Yes — Charades Party is rated 4+ on the App Store. The word lists contain no mature content. The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
